About

Team chat for people who live on the keyboard.

Hasarak is a small product with a narrow idea: chat, threads and docs that you can run entirely from the keyboard, fast enough that it never gets in the way.

Why we build it

Most team chat is built around the mouse: hover to find an action, click to open a thread, scroll to find where you were. Teams that spend the day in editors and terminals pay for that in small interruptions. Hasarak has ⌘K to jump anywhere and, in its Minimal style, a key for every action; it keeps threads and an inbox one keystroke away, and keeps the team's docs next to the conversation instead of in another tool.

It also treats the tools around the chat as first-class. Connectors install from a built-in marketplace or by URL, @ai answers in the thread on a member's own Cursor or ChatGPT plan, and every workspace is an MCP server that agents and editors can work with.

Who builds it

Hasarak is made and run by Underscore LLC. [Founder name and one line about them]

How it ships

Every change goes through a pull request that carries a short note on why it was made, and the web app deploys to production when it merges. What changed for users is in the changelog.

Workspaces run on servers hosted by OVHcloud in the United Kingdom, with encrypted off-site backups. The Privacy Policy lists what is stored, where and for how long, and admins can export a workspace at any time.

What's available today

The web app at app.hasarak.com is the released client, with a free plan for small teams (pricing). Desktop, terminal, iOS and Android clients are in the codebase but have no public release yet, and the browser extension is not in the stores yet. We'll say so here and in the changelog when they ship.
