Effective October 23, 2026.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Underscore LLC ("we", "us"), for using Hasarak: the web, desktop, mobile and terminal apps at app.hasarak.com and elsewhere, its API, its MCP server and its connectors (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining a workspace or continuing as a guest you accept these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you may do so.
2. The Service
Hasarak is a team chat with channels, direct messages, threads and pages. Workspaces can install connectors (for example GitHub and Linear) and connect MCP clients through OAuth. We may change, add or remove features. We will tell workspace admins in advance before removing a feature a paid plan depends on.
3. Accounts and workspaces
- You sign up with an email and password, which creates a new workspace you own, or join an existing workspace with an invite link from one of its admins. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- The workspace's admins control who is a member, which connectors are installed and what those connectors may read and write. The organization that owns a workspace (the "Customer") owns its content.
- "Continue as guest" opens a demo workspace with sample data. It is deleted 30 days after it is created, unless you sign up from it to keep it.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
4. Your content
Messages, pages and other material you put into the Service ("Content") stay yours or the Customer's. You give us the permission we need to host, copy, transmit and display Content in order to run the Service for you, including sending it to connectors your workspace installed. We do not use Content for advertising and do not sell it. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and for Customers in the Data Processing Agreement.
5. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- send spam, malware, or material that harasses, threatens or exploits others;
- probe, overload or get around the security or limits of the Service, or access workspaces you were not invited to;
- resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.
We may suspend accounts or workspaces that break these rules, and will tell the admins why unless the law or safety prevents it.
6. Connectors and third-party services
Connectors link a workspace to services such as GitHub and Linear, and MCP clients connect to the workspace through OAuth. When an admin installs a connector or a member authorizes an MCP client, Content is shared with it within the permissions granted. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Plans and payment
Hasarak has a Free plan and a paid Team plan; current prices and limits are on the pricing page. Paid plans are sold through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, charges applicable sales tax or VAT, issues invoices and handles refunds under its own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change for an existing subscription.
8. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account in the web app (Settings › Account), and a workspace's admins can download a copy of its data (Settings › General); to have a workspace deleted, write to support@underscore.am. We may end these Terms or suspend the Service for you if you seriously or repeatedly break them. Sections 4, 9, 10, 12 and 13 survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Armeniahave exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
