Install a connector

A workspace admin installs a connector once, for the whole workspace. Members then use it, or sign in to their own accounts with it.

Open Settings › Connectors workspace admin

In Hasarak, open Settings and choose Connectors under your workspace’s name. The list shows the connectors already installed and, below them, the ones you can install. Only admins can install connectors, and guest workspaces can’t have any.

Press Install on the connector’s row (Cursor, ChatGPT or PostHog on app.hasarak.com today; GitHub, Linear and Claude are coming). It joins the list of installed connectors, marked active.

Or install from a URL workspace admin

For a connector that isn’t listed, press Install from URL, paste its address into Connector URL and press Install. Hasarak reads the connector’s manifest and installs it.

Approve what it asks for workspace admin

A connector that later asks for more access shows needs approval on its row. Press the row to approve the permissions it lists. Installed connectors post as their own member, so their replies are always labelled, and they can’t read DMs.
